MY DRAGON
Just one day he came to me
like a swift bird in the sky.
His teeth were as green as
a bean and his tale was
spiky like a spy. His skin
is covered with scales
which are pink and of
coarse he has two wings
and they are kinked.
He breaths fire and it
sure is hot, he blows it
right to the corner of my
throat. And finally his
name it’s as cute as he
is his name is Cutie Pie.
These pandas usually grow to the size of a house cat, though their big, bushy tails add 46 centimetres. The pandas use their lined tails as a blanket in the chilly mountain heights.
The red panda shares the giant panda's rainy forest habitat, but has a wider range. Red pandas live in the mountains of Nepal and northern Myanmar, as well as in central China.
These animals spend most of their lives in trees. When foraging, they are most active at night as well as in the gloaming hours of dusk and dawn.
Red pandas have a taste for bamboo but, unlike their larger relatives, they eat many other foods as well as fruit, acorns, roots, and eggs. Like giant pandas, they have an extended wrist bone that functions almost like a thumb and helps their grip.
They are shy and quite except when mating. Females give birth in spring and summer, usually one to four babies. Young red pandas remain in their habitat for about 90 days, during the time their mother cares for them.
Red pandas are endangered, victims of deforestation. Their natural space is shrinking as more and more forests are destroyed by logging and the spread of agriculture.
Good tree climbers. Most active during the day. Red Pandas are solitary animals. The Giant Panda is significantly larger than the Red Panda. The Red Panda differs from the Giant Panda in that it adds fruits to its diet. The Red Panda feeds more frequently on bamboo leaves as opposed to the stems and shoots eaten by the Giant Panda
